Management Accountant Role

NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading PE Backed organisation based in Alderley Edge Cheshire to assist in recruiting a Management Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and experienced Management Accountant who can help support the Financial Controller in preparing timely management accounts for various entities within the business. As a Management Accountant you will have lots of autonomy and support to help build on your existing experience.

Management Accountant Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely management accounts with P&L reporting to assist to business stakeholders.
• Produce month end and year end journals.
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Working on a couple of entities as the main point of contact.

 Management Accountant Experience Required

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Management Accountant is essential
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA Part Qualified
• Excellent communicational skills
• Keen to develop
• An ability to quickly pick-up new systems
• Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to understand more
• Able to build strong stakeholder relationships
