Management Accountant | Public Sector | Staffordshire | Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable public sector organisation in Staffordshire to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to progress their career in an organisation going through a positive transformation period.

Responsibilities for the Management Accountant position includes;

• Providing a robust accounting service to a range of key service areas
• Liaising with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
• Assisting in the training of budget holders on financial matters
• Production of KPI reports
• Presentation of financial reports to senior management
• Attendance and contribution to regular budget monitoring reports with senior stakeholders
• Assist in year end accounting process
• Supervision of Accounts Assistant

The person;

• Qualified Accountant – either from within Sector/Industry or Practice
• Ability to build relationships with non-Finance
• Public Sector Finance experience desirable
