Management Accountant - Recruit Moore Ltd : Job Details

Recruit Moore have been approached by our client to support them in finding a Management Accountant for their amazing team.

This is a 100% remote, work from home, opportunity!

This role involves taking over the responsibility for the bookkeeping and management accounts for the business.

Duties to include -

• Processing management journals, such as prepayments, depreciation and accrued/deferred income
• Running monthly reports and preparing Management Accounts
• Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management reports
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met
• Building and maintaining great relationships with clients, answering their queries day-to-day
• Keeping the client's accounts up to date

The ideal candidate will have -

• An AAT qualification is desirable but not essential
• A high level of bookkeeping knowledge and expertise
• Good hands-on knowledge of Xero
• An understanding of other Xero apps
• Excellent experience, either in an accountancy practice or in industry
• A passion for chatting with clients, and an ability to build trust and rapport quickly
• A positive collaborative team working approach
• Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload

This is a 100% remote working role (you do not have to live in Hampshire).

Hours - 08:30 - 17:30, flexible working (core hours 10:00 - 16:00).

Salary - £30,000 - £37,000
