Job title: Management AccountantLocation: ReigateJob Type: Full-time, interim role- Hybrid working (2 days office and 3 days from home)Length of assignment: 6 monthsPay rate: £21.63- £26.44 per hour PAYE or £27.17- £33.34 per hour via umbrella.We are seeking a Management Accountant to provide essential financial support and analysis to enable our Senior Management to make informed business decisions. This role is integral to ensuring robust financial controls are in place and adhered to, and for delivering accurate internal financial reports.

Day to day of the role of the management accountant:Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including P&Ls, highlighting variances and trends.Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business cases.Communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to understand their goals and how financial insight can support them.Analyse KPIs and provide insights to support operational improvements and decision-making.Support in the development of financial budgets.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance effectiveness.Maintain knowledge of financial developments and accounting best practices to ensure compliance.Required Skills & Qualifications as a management accountant:Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with relevant post-qualification experience.Proven experience as a management accountant, including an understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and data analysis.Excellent commercial judgment for risk management and change recommendations.Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.Highly analytical with the ability to work with large data sets and provide actionable recommendations.Ability to develop and maintain excellent professional working relationships across the company.Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.If you are available on no more than one weeks' notice, please apply for immediate consideration.
