Fulwood

£35,000 to £45,000

This is an opportunity to work with the Senior Leadership Team in their strategic financial planning, ensuring the company's fiscal stability and fostering its profitability and continued expansion.

You will be pivotal in providing financial expertise to Management to assist in effective strategies and gain clearer directional insights.

In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a multifaceted role, where you'll be blending accounting acumen with business management proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Financial Controller to compile monthly management accounts,
  • Offering a supportive framework by liaising with all departments and the management to inform financial decisions.
  • Managing monthly journals
  • Guiding pivotal strategic choices and formulating business strategies
  • Providing insights on the financial ramifications of business determinations.
  • Conducting in-depth assessments of financial performance, contributing to medium and long-term business blueprints and prognostications.
  • Translating and disseminating financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations within Xero Accounting, including handling purchase invoices and expense disbursements.
  • Vigilantly monitoring credit insurance parameters, risks, and suggestions.
  • Executing commission calculations and fulfilling regulatory obligations.

  • An inquisitive mindset, underpinned by a logical work approach, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Either full or part-qualification in CIMA/ ACCA or an equivalent accreditation, supplemented by 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Study support will be provided.
  • Familiarity with Xero Accounting Software, training will be provided as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
