Management Accountant (12 Months FTC) St Columb Major£35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Our client, a leading family-run manufacturing business, is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. The position offers both flexible and remote working, with monthly travel to the Cornwall office.

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual management accounts, offering analysis and commentary on financial figures, and providing budget holders with essential financial information for informed decision-making in a dynamic setting.

The responsibilities:

• Oversee and report on the business's commercial performance.
• Compile monthly and annual accounts.
• Conduct month-end reconciliations for bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare month-end journals and supporting documentation for accruals and prepayments.
• Provide budget holders with analysis of expenditure.

The candidate:

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Demonstrate proven experience in a similar role.
• Be immediately available, or on relatively short notice.
