We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Male SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong sports background to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Kidderminster. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students with high SEN needs while also delivering structured and engaging physical activity sessions.Start Date: ASAPLocation: Stoke - On - Trent Contract Type: Full-time, temp to perm About the Role:The successful candidate will play a dual role, providing one-to-one and group support to pupils with complex learning, emotional, and behavioural needs, while also leading and assisting with sports-based interventions, PE sessions, and structured play.Key Responsibilities:Support students with high-level SEN, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficultiesAssist in delivering individual learning plans and behaviour strategiesLead or support structured physical activities and sports sessions to promote social skills, fitness, and self-esteemWork closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure consistent supportPromote a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learnersThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Proven experience working with children with high SEN needsA background in sports coaching, PE, or physical activityStrong behaviour management and a calm, consistent approachExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA positive, resilient attitude and a genuine passion for making a differenceQualifications such as Team Teach, Level 2/3 TA, or sports coaching certifications are highly desirable.How to Apply:If you are a proactive, reliable male role model with a passion for SEN and sport, we would love to hear from you.
