An innovative plastics and injection moulding facility near Hailsham is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support their high-volume production environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of the core maintenance team responsible for reducing downtime, responding to mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensuring machines run at peak performance.

The Maintenance Technician will be working with moulding machines, conveyors, dryers, and automated pickers. The ideal Maintenance Technician will have a varied engineering background and a proactive, team-first mindset.

Your Role (as Maintenance Technician):

• Respond quickly to breakdowns and conduct routine PPMs
• Fault-find on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Conduct first-level electrical checks (limit switches, relays, starters)
• Work collaboratively with operators and engineers to resolve recurring faults
• Help track parts usage and complete job sheets accurately
