Maintenance Surveyor - Lynx Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Lynx is representing a housing association in Kent who are looking to recruit a customer-focused Maintenance Surveyor to join the team covering sites across Kent.

This is an initial 12 month fixed-term contract (FTC) where you will work to keep residents safe in their homes and promote a positive culture.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake property inspections and defect diagnosis
• Draw up work specifications and instruct contractors
• Resolve damp, mould and condensation issues
• Effective contract and budget management
• Handle legal disrepair claims and attend court if required
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents
• Provide technical direction to staff, contractors etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborative working and positive team player

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in housing/property maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with good organisational abilities
• Valid UK driving license
• Analytic and problem solving aptitude
