My client are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative based in Park Royal (NW10). This is a high end building and presents an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Maintenance/Caretaker/Handyman experience looking to work in Residential.
Role Overview
- Demonstrate values in all aspects of your work and communication, develop strong relationships and enhance work quality.
- Ensure the site is well maintained providing a clean and secure environment for residents and guests at all times.
- Support the Development Manager to keep health and safety standards to a maximum.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly fire alarm test, emergency lighting test, sprinkler system and fire alarm panel checks and to report any issues to the fire systems maintenance company.
- Ensure that all drains and gutters are completely clean and free of rubbish. Report any blockages which cannot be resolved without specialist machinery should be reported immediately to the managing agents.
- Instructing contractors, where appropriate, to deal with problems such as non -functioning of plant and machinery and notifying the managing agents of any action as appropriate.
- To assist the other staff on site including Security Contract Guards and Cleaners, by acting as a permanent presence around the estate. You will be expected to report any breaches of security or suspicious occurrence to the on-site concierge immediately.
- Instructing contractors, where appropriate, to deal with problems such as non-functioning of plant and machinery and notifying the managing agents of any action as appropriate.
- Assisting with any ad hoc requests from the Building Manager, the Team and the residents.
- Ensuring that the roof and its gutters and hoppers are free from rubbish.
- Undertaking paint jobs.
- Changing or repairing locks.

- To ensure the development is maintained professionally
- To provide a high standard level of service to residents and all visitors to the development
Hours: Monday to Friday; 08:00-17:00
Location: Park Royal (NW10) (closest station is Park Royal)
Salary: £33,000 per annum
