Maintenance Operative - Residential Development

Location: West London

Type: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 to £33,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday / 8am to 5pm

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Operative with a passion for delivering first-class service?We’re working with a leading residential developer to find a proactive and reliable Maintenance Operative to join their on-site team at a well-established residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct day-to-day repairs and maintenance within communal areas
• Ensure the development is maintained to a high standard, including minor plumbing, joinery, electrical, and decorating tasks
• Carry out weekly/monthly checks (e.g., emergency lighting, fire alarms, water testing) and maintain accurate records
• Support the estate team in maintaining the exterior grounds where needed
• Respond quickly and professionally to residents' maintenance requests

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role (residential experience preferred)
• Skilled in basic plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, and minor electrical work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Health & Safety awareness (COSHH, manual handling, etc.)
