Maintenance Manager - Techniche Global Ltd : Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager for a global packaging manufacturer based in South Cumbria.In this key leadership role, you will oversee a multi-skilled team including Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines and the supervisors for their respective areas.  It is a Senior Management role, reporting to the Head of Engineering and will liaise daily with your counterparts in Production and the wider Operational teams.  It is a Monday – Friday on site role with core hours of 08:30 – 17:00.  Salary available will be circa £55,000 dependant on experience plus benefits and bonus.  Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the onsite maintenance team to improve the performance of plant machinery.
• Develop, train, lead and ensure standards are met to increase reliability, safety and performance of all manufacturing processes and equipment, effectively on time to budget.
• Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enhance and develop the existing maintenance strategy for the plant to ensure optimum manufacturing performance.
• Lead by example, drive and adhere to health, safety and environmental working practices.

  They will consider a range of industry backgrounds with suitable, transferable skills from manufacturing, ideally with an electrical bias towards your qualifications and experience however this is not a prequisite.
