Maintenance Manager - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a globally recognised manufacturer in the recruitment of a Maintenance Manager.

Our client is one of the largest privately owned businesses within Yorkshire that has been manufacturing for over 100 years, market leading within their offering and working with many well-known retailers.

This Maintenance Manager will play a key role in managing the maintenance department and increasing machine efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities for this Maintenance Manager will include but are not limited to:

• Manage a team of 15 Maintenance Engineers.
• Controls all maintenance spend to budgeted levels and generates cost reduction and productivity actions / projects to improve the future profitability of the business.
• Manage the CMMS system and ensure delivery of preventative maintenance plan to increase machine efficiency.
• Spearhead projects to reduce the company’s’ carbon footprint, energy consumption and waste generation.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting a continuous learning environment.
• Establish KPIs to measure the success of CI and sustainability initiatives.
• Generate regular reports to communicate progress, achievements and areas for improvement to the Engineering Manager.

Elevation is keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:

• You will be HNC level or above in either Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager role with manufacturing experience and a clear focus on continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing CI Methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing context.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams.
