Maintenance Engineer – Multiskilled – Mechanical BiasJob Summary:As part of our client's ongoing growth, we are seeking the next generation of Engineering Leaders. We are looking for driven and experienced Maintenance Engineers with a Mechanical bias who are keen to grow as professionals. Our client are known for great culture and engaging work environment. This role offers diverse responsibilities, from projects and installations to reactive and planned maintenance within a supportive engineering environment at a facility receiving an ongoing suite of investment.Location: HullSalary: £40,000 – 50,000 DOE plus Pension, Overtime, Bonus and corporate volunteering daysShift: Rotating 12 hour shift pattern to include Days and Nights Key BenefitsFantastic training and ongoing development opportunities which are tailored to the individualPro-active and modern thinking approach to MaintenanceJoining a stable business who are investing both in the site and in their people.Longer term progression opportunities for the right personKey Responsibilities:• Maintain, service, and repair plant machinery to minimise production downtime, leveraging strong mechanical skills and good electrical knowledge. – Please note training provided to upskill as required. • Provide technical support on projects, installations, and breakdowns.• Develop and improve preventative maintenance strategies.• Perform investigations and recommend corrective actions as appropriate. • Create detailed reports on maintenance activities.• Participate in Lean initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.• Minimise production downtime through effective maintenance and repair of machinery.• Successfully implement and improve preventative maintenance strategies.Ideal Candidate:• multiskilled and keen to learn. • Ability to handle reactive and planned maintenance, providing technical support as needed.• Demonstrates an interest in and passion for driving improvements to processes.• Willingness to engage in Lean initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.About Us:Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is a leading recruitment consultancy specialising in delivering high-relevance recruitment services across the UK.
