Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Shift: Panama Days and Nights

Location: Thorndon, Suffolk

I'm currently recruiting two maintenance engineers for an FMCG manufacturing company to join their engineering department in a busy, high-speed, state-of-the-art factory. The successful maintenance engineers will be joining a company currently undergoing a period of expansion. The duties of the maintenance engineers will include carrying out PPMs, attending to breakdowns, and taking part in engineering projects such as CI and RCA initiatives.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

• Either Mechanical or Electrical Bias
• Must have a minimum Level 3 engineering qualification  
• Industrial Background
• Ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance effectively
• Able to quickly diagnose and resolve breakdowns under pressure.
