Johnsons Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Linen, a leading name in the hospitality linen industry, is seeking a qualified Laundry Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Southall site (UB2 4SF).

This is an exciting opportunity to take join an excellent and highly skilled team dealing with the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our critical plant, buildings, and equipment. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our busy production environment.

In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry by:

• Maintaining, repairing, and servicing our plant, building, and equipment. Previous laundry experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Utilising your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns.
• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise our equipment and processes.
• Participating in preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and keep our laundry running efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with the engineering team and other departments to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure systems (steam) is a plus.
• A flexible and adaptable work style, as the role requires working shifts (including evenings and weekends) as needed.
• A proactive and problem-solving approach.
