Maintenance Engineer - ASC Connections Ltd : Job Details

We are working in partnership with a long-established and highly respected manufacturer specialising in highway infrastructure solutions. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, the company prides itself on delivering premium UK-made products with fast turnaround times and exceptional technical support. They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure their production facility continues to provide on-time-in-full support.

Maintenance Engineer daily duties

• Carry out routine maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production equipment.
• Conduct PUWER and LOLER compliance checks to ensure systems are always maintained.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
• Support the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and quality teams to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and mentor junior engineers.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, and machinery safety legislation.
• Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable (training provided if required).
