Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianDudley | £46,000 – £50,000 (including shift allowance & annual bonus)Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6amAre you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician seeking a long-term, permanent role within a stable company?Our client, a well-established specialist in supplying products to the construction industry, is looking to strengthen their maintenance team with a skilled engineer.Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair conveyor systems and associated production machinery
• Attend and resolve plant breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Carry out TPM/PPM activities to minimise downtime
• Undertake repairs, maintenance, and continuous improvements on plant equipment
• Support installation and improvement projects as required
• Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled maintenance team

Requirements:

• Time-served technician with relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)
• Strong industrial experience (medium to heavy environment preferred)
• Solid understanding of PLC systems (direct PLC work will be subcontracted)
• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Knowledge of AC & DC systems, single & three-phase electrics, and inverter drives is highly advantageous
• Electrical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3) desirable
