Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – DudleySalary & Shifts:

• £35,000 per annum (includes shift allowance)
• Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm - Plenty of overtime available

Join a leading steel processing company at the heart of the Black Country, supporting production through proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance.Role Overview:

• Work as part of a 2-person team (1 Electrician, 1 Mechanical Engineer)
• Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
• Complete shift reports and maintain safety standards
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Read engineering drawings
• General welding, fabrication, and bench fitting
• Oxygen/acetylene burning
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and overhead cranes

Requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship or time-served in mechanical maintenance
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment
