I am seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team in the West Midlands. This role focuses on ensuring machinery and equipment are well-maintained to support production within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Description
- Perform reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
- Overhaul, adapt, and carry out improvements on existing machinery.
- Mechanically biased role with some electrical work involved.
- Replace bearings, inspect compressors, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and repair equipment including conveyors, pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding tasks.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the plant and suggest new methods and procedures.
- Complete all documentation to a high standard.
- Carry out basic facility and site service maintenance as needed.
- Ensure effective teamwork and adopt a flexible, first-time-right approach.
4 on 4 off - 12 Hours - 06:00 - 18:00
Profile
A successful Maintenance Fitter/Engineer with experience in a fast-paced, production driven environment, along with:
- A recognised mechanical Engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors & general plant machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in an engineering environment.
Job Offer
