Maintenance Engineer - Reed : Job Details

• Working Hours: Days only, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a renowned company in the catering and kitchen supplies industry, known for their quality products. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to maintain production lines and ensure the smooth running of best-selling products. This would suit a maintenance engineer with Mechanical Bias.

• Maintain production lines to minimise machine downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical problems as they arise.
• Perform diagnostic tests and root cause analysis to resolve issues with machinery or equipment.
• Conduct tests on malfunctioning machinery to determine the need for major repairs.
• Provide technical support to the team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

• Experience with pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic lines, rollers, chains, bearings, sprockets, and electric motors.
• Mechanical bias is preferable.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Proven experience in a long-standing production maintenance role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
