Maintenance Engineer - Galaxy Personnel : Job Details

Our client is a leading manufacturer who has a world leading product range. They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their busy Engineering support team.Applicants will ideally have worked within an engineering environment and will have a flexible and strong mechanical aptitude.There is the opportunity to progress and enhance your career within the business.Main duties will include –  To assist with the department by servicing, maintaining and supporting the smooth running of the machinery. To diagnose faults and strip down all machines and equipment Strip down machines and equipment when necessary to replace mechanical own parts. Completing and updating tasks using a maintenance based software To support and assist with service engineer visits Investigate and where possible offer suggestions for improvements on cost reductions Assisting other areas of business in a maintenance role as and when requiredCandidate attributes –  Experience within a general workshop machinery and equipment Applicants will be familiar with production machinery and will have experience performing a maintenance based position Ideally will have a good mechanical aptitude and will be capable of stripping down machines to replace items, such as bearings, conveyor belts and other worn parts. Will be self-discipline, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and as an individual. Applicants will need to show flexibility and support to other areas of the business in a maintenance based environment. Possess strong communication skills, being able to discuss problems and issues with all levels of personnel.Please contact Julie at the Industrial team for further information or call (01842) 820409Skills:Maintenance, engineer, engineering, manufacturing, breakdowns, multi skilled, Flexible to working hours, machinery,Qualifications:Own driving licence, Keywords:Maintenance, engineer, engineering, manufacturing, breakdowns, multi skilled, Flexible to working hours, machinery,
