Maintenance Assistant - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing positions. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our clients based in Sheffield on a permanent basis. 

Role details:Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-12pm

Hourly Rate: £12.21

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty waste collecting equipment and remove waste to storage.
• Empty of waste from plant items (extractors etc).
• Housekeeping across the site inside and out.
• Organisation/upkeep of the waste/raw materials storage areas.
• Liaise with waste collection contractors.
• Load waste from storage to collection transport for disposal.
• Maintain accurate records of waste levels and disposal activities.
• Manage waste segregation inside and out.
• Organise unusual and “special” waste collections by contractors.
• Carry out “uplift” activities (painting, floor marking etc).
• Assist in movement of plant and office equipment.
• Installing/removing/relocating various signs and furniture.
• Providing assistance to the Operations team as required.

Requirements:

• FLT License
• Driving License
• Manual handling experience
