Machine Operative - Reed : Job Details

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our key client based in Knottingley who have an urgent requirement for a Production Operative - immediate start.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. 

The main duties are (but not limited to)-

-Assist with stock taking checks

-Operating machinery

-Maintenance of the safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and procedures

-Dealing with waste products

-Sorting out returns

-Reworking/adjusting the returned materials from customers

-Maintaining the machinery (dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition

-Making sure the workplace is kept tidy

-Ad-hoc warehouse duties

Person spec:-

-Experience in a similar role

-Following all safety procedures in place

-Organised with a good eye for detail

-Ability to work to deadlines

-Excellent communication skills/team player

-Safety boots
