A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute M&A Associate to join its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transactions across the UK and Europe, supporting clients in a dynamic and strategically important sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions within the PUI sector, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory mandates.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation modelling (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps), and due diligence.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, legal advisors, consultants, and other deal parties.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Candidate Profile
- 4-6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related advisory role, with a strong focus on M&A.
- Demonstrated transaction experience in the Power, Utilities or Infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling and valuation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
