Logistics & Demand Planner / Manufacturing / Reading / £55,000Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with strong capabilities in demand planning and asset management to join our high-performing Operations team. This strategic and hands-on role is pivotal to ensuring global service excellence through the effective planning, positioning, and movement of our rental assets.Responsibilities:

• Lead global logistics execution with our 4PL partner—ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movements of rental assets.
• Oversee customs, shipping modes, documentation, and delivery timelines.
• Define and manage KPIs across service delivery, cost, speed, and compliance.
• Own and manage rolling global demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with Fleet Operations to align asset needs with business growth.
• Use predictive tools and historical data to improve forecast accuracy.
• Ensure logistics execution is tightly aligned with anticipated demand.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across global hubs to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Monitor performance via availability, on-time delivery rates, and transit adherence.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in logistics, ideally within a service-based industry
• Proven success managing global operations, 4PL/3PL relationships, and cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of logistics networks, inventory management, and demand planning.
• Strong leadership and project management experience.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools
