Salary: £30,000 - 37,000 + Benefits

The Advocate Group is proud to represent a leading B2B manufacturing powerhouse in the booming beverage industry. As they expand operations, we're on the hunt for a dedicated Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to be the backbone of our client interactions and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate customer and SKU associations on the AX system for efficient order processing.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and commit to delivery timelines based on agreed lead times.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of customer orders, ensuring adherence to internal timelines.
  • Coordinate stock allocation with 3rd party warehouses to maintain accurate inventory rotation.
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Planners to ensure accurate information for origin purchase orders.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Supply Planner to review factory Order Fulfilment Schedules.
  • Maintain accurate AX shipment and delivery dates, ensuring transparent communication with customers.
  • Confirm shipping instructions and document requirements to Customer Service.
  • Review and approve draft shipping documents from the Forwarding Agent.
  • Generate Consignment Notes for UK or 3rd party storage facilities.
  • Coordinate transportation for customer deliveries from warehouses or 3rd party locations.
  • Provide customer invoices from UK or 3rd party storage locations.
  • Manage the freight quote database and provide timely quotes to the Sales team.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customs and documentation queries.
  • Ensure competitive rates and contracts are in place for shipping lines and airfreight forwarding agents.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations to maintain service standards.

Your Profile

  • Experience of international shipping procedures (import & export), documentation and customs regulations.
  • Thorough understanding of INCOTERMS 2020©
  • Knowledge of business systems, Microsoft AX an advantage
  • Customer service orientation & experience
  • Ability to work across a range of cultures
  • bright, proactive and confident manner that helps provides customers with confidence
  • to detail
  • skills and ability to demonstrate competence in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Strong communication, customer-focus, teamwork and tenacity
