Logistics Coordinator, Basingstoke: Dealing with all B2B customer queries and logistics matters to ensure orders are processed and shipped correctly

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, and time-lines
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
  • Providing import and export documentation
  • Answering customer queries
  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and maintain electronic databases
  • Other admin support where required.
    • Check and process purchase orders on the Company's key suppliers
    • Monitor purchase order progress with key suppliers
    • Arrange logistical movements between key suppliers, the Company's warehouse and its end customers
    • Provide weekly back order reports to key customers
    • Raise customer invoices
    • Process incoming invoices
    • Handle key supplier reconciliations

You will need the enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to join a small team in a dynamic working environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an Operations import/export role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Essential: Previous experience in a busy administration team.
  • Preferred: Previous exposure to logistics

Driving licence and own car highly preferable

Job Offer

circa £28,000 - £33,000 plus competitive package dependant upon experience.

Salary : 28000 - 33000
