Uxbridge, MiddlesexMonday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM1 in 3 Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime Pay) Full-Time | Permanent

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Controller to join a fast-paced, growing organisation within the credit hire industry. The role involves coordinating the movement of a mixed fleet of over 800 vehicles, including prestige, commercial, and mainstream models. You’ll be part of a supportive team working to deliver efficient service and excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Sales Team to arrange delivery and collection of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with clients to confirm logistics details in a friendly and professional manner
  • Coordinate with regional hubs to optimise fleet use and driver allocation
  • Manage day-to-day vehicle movements, maintaining accurate records and generating necessary paperwork
  • Handle vehicle-related issues including damage reports, servicing, and de-fleeting
  • Review returned documentation to ensure compliance and quality standards are met

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge and interest in vehicles
  • Good geographical awareness of the UK
  • Calm, confident communicator with a customer-first attitude
  • Excellent PC skills and comfortable with using logistics systems (training provided)
  • Organised, motivated, and detail-oriented under pressure
  • Adaptable with a 'can-do' approach and strong team spirit
  • Experience in automotive environments (e.g., bodyshop, dealership) is desirable
  • Skilled in Excel and general administration
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
