In this role, you will support the pharmacy department by assisting with medication dispensing, inventory management, and other pharmacy-related tasks.   • Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, labelling, and packaging in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, ordering medications and supplies as needed, and conducting regular stock audits.
  • Process prescriptions and medication orders, including data entry and verification of patient information.
  • Provide support to pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals, answering inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures, including health and safety guidelines and infection control measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of medication transactions, patient information, and other pharmacy-related activities.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital, community pharmacy, or clinical setting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently
