Job Title: Locum Democratic Services Officer

Location: Midlands Rate: Up to £40 per hour UmbrellaWorking Hours: Hybrid Working

 Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Public Sector Organisation based in Midlands in their search for an experienced Locum Democratic Services Officer. In this position you will be expected to deal with the Organisation’s democratic services functions.

Duties include:

•          Attending meetings, take notes, and liaise with officers and external bodies

•          Implementing decisions through correspondence, reports, and collaboration

•          Maintaining records of Council, Cabinet, Panel, and committee minutes

•          Assisting in organising civic events and training other officers

•          Preparing service meeting with electronic prep of agendas, reports, and minutes
