Loan Manager - LMA Recruitment : Job Details

We're working with a leading specialist bank within the property and mortgage sector, currently seeking a Loan Manager to join their growing Service Operations team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, brokers, and internal teams, handling a variety of servicing matters across specialist mortgages. You'll manage customer requests that may vary original loan agreements, maintain pipelines of applications, and ensure all queries are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer care.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in mortgage servicing, bridging finance, or a similar financial services environment, who is passionate about customer outcomes and confident in managing a busy and varied workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process customer requests (consent to lease, part release of security, etc.)
• Maintain accurate customer records across internal systems
• Issue timely and quality responses in line with service level standards
• Liaise effectively with brokers, valuers, and solicitors
• Prepare credit proposals for amendments to existing facilities
• Escalate risk cases appropriately in line with policy

• Strong experience in mortgage servicing or property finance
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong team player with good problem-solving ability
• Understanding of risk management principles
