Loading Shovel Operator (Waste Management)

£30,000-£35,000 (OTE £45,000+) + Training + Progression + Overtime + Company Benefits + Days based

Are you a Loading Shovel Operator or similar looking to join an award winning company where you will receive specialist training, internal progression, and have a lot of opportunity for overtime to really increase your earnings?

This well-established company have been providing their services for over 15 years and have grown to multiple depots, with further plans to increase this and due to continual growth they are looking to add a Loading Shovel Operator to their team in Scunthorpe and take the role forward.

In this role you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the plant, moving waste and recyclable materials around the site using the loading shovel equipment. You will work Monday - Friday 0700-1700 (some weekend work) 45 base hours a week with readily available premium overtime on offer to increase earnings.

This role would suit a Loading Shovel Operator with experience in waste, recycling, construction, or quarrying sectors looking for a dynamic role within a well-established company offering internal training, progression, and readily available premium overtime opportunities to increase earnings.

The Role

• Operate loading shovel equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and move waste and recyclable materials around the site.
• Assist with general site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Person

• Previous experience operating a loading shovel or similar plant machinery
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Commutable to Scunthorpe
