- Umbrella Rate (Inclusive of Holiday): £23.00 per hour
- Umbrella Rate (Exclusive of Holiday): Approx. £20.50 per hour
- PAYE Rate (Inclusive of Holiday): Approx. £20.00 per hour
- PAYE Rate (Exclusive of Holiday): Approx. £18.00 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by substance misuse? We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Link Worker to join a dynamic Substance Misuse Service on a temporary basis.?? About the Role: As a Link Worker, you'll support individuals from the point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and recovery planning
- Supporting clients with onward referrals to relevant services
- Reducing drug and alcohol-related harm to individuals and the wider community
- Promoting carer, service user, and community involvement in the recovery process
- Advocating for access to external support and partnership services
- Encouraging social reintegration, resilience, and self-determination
- Facilitating connections to peer support networks and meaningful activities
? What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in a substance misuse, mental health, or social care setting
- A trauma-informed and person-centred approach
- Strong knowledge of harm reduction, recovery models, and safeguarding
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and care coordination skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client group

- Full-time hours (typically Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)
- Temporary role: 3–6 month contract
