Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Birkenhead

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a wonderful primary school in the Birkenhead area who are seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school has a fantastic reputation for its comprehensive level of support. Staff work closely together to ensure children make excellent progress both academically and socially, and they have a strong commitment to fostering a culture of creative and engaging learning. This role will involve working within a Year 4 class, supporting the teacher with whole class learning as well as leading small group interventions in literacy and numeracy.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have recent experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Be confident delivering small group work and 1:1 support
• Have a caring, adaptable and positive approach to working with children

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available once a successful candidate has been selected. The position is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.
