We are seeking a motivated and skilled Primary HLTA to join our dynamic team at a vibrant school in King's Lynn. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who is adept at managing both pupil interventions and covering staff absences, including PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver targeted interventions to pupils who require additional support in specific areas of the curriculum.
- Cover classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of education and managing classroom activities.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons when working alongside teachers during PPA times.
- Support the assessment of pupil progress and contribute to the preparation of reports and parent meetings.
- Foster a positive learning environment, addressing any individual student needs and promoting educational inclusion.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the development of educational programs and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 3 TA Qualification or Above
- Experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Ability to manage classes independently and provide educational support across a range of subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and inspiring students.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and school needs.
