Your new schoolThis fantastic Primary School based in Walsall is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them in September. Your new roleYou will be working in a Year 5 class supporting a small group of children with SEN. You will be working from 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday-Fridays, working closely with small groups and supporting the children on a 1:1 basis with literacy, reading and numeracy. You will also work alongside the classroom teacher to foster engagement, plan activities, and provide support to the rest of the class when needed. Strong communication skills and a dedication to student academic progress are essential for success in this role.What you'll need to succeed

• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
• Must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified.
• You will be required to have experience working with children with SEN.
• You will need strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children, and 1:1.
