Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with children in educational and play activities that promote their learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement learning activities that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Observe and assess children's progress and prepare reports that detail their achievements.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your professional skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- Experience in a nursery setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- This role is subject to an enhanced and satisfactory DBS check, self-disclosure, and proof of identity. Referees will be contacted for successful candidates.
