Mark Templer Residential Lettings are looking for a full-time Property Valuer for our established lettings office in Clevedon. Mark Templer Residential Lettings is the leading local agent and wish to add further experience to our professional and friendly team. The candidate’s main focus will be to carry out property valuations and generate new business as well as being involved with the day to day running of the office. Day to day tasks will include, but not limited to, co-ordinating all aspects of property marketing administration, overseeing the sales team on the progression of tenancy applications, agreeing new tenancies and renewals as well as assisting with property inspections and check outs when required.

Position

- Full time.

- 08:45 - 17:30.

- Monday-Friday.

- 1 in 3 Saturdays that accumulates a day in lieu. Open until 2pm on Saturday.

Salary

- £30,000 - £35,000 OTE.

Job role

- Carrying out market appraisals and listing new properties.

- Meeting and providing a professional service to clients.

- Offering advice to landlords.

- Providing guidance to less experienced staff and delegating tasks to colleagues.

- Assist in overseeing day to day office activity.

- Help generate new business.

- Being aware of new legislation within the industry.

- Assist with managing customer complaints.

- Assisting with property inspections and checkouts when required.

Key Skills

- Confidence interacting with clients in person and over the phone.

- A positive and can-do attitude towards new projects and tasks.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, excel and outlook.

- Excellent organisation.

- Ability to carry out tasks and use initiative to overcome issues.

Experience

- Experience taking a lead role in a team environment.

- Experience in the residential lettings industry.

- A full UK driving licence.
