Leicester Council - Procurement Manager - Remedy Recruitment Group : Job Details

Candidates must be:

• Confident in operating under Procurement Act 2023
  • Includes timely publishing of notices under the Act
• Procurement Act 2023 Practitioner (Government Commercial College TPP training)
• Will be involved in end to end (requirement to award, no contract management) procurement of Goods, Services, Works (except ICT, Social Care, Light Touch)
• Confident in using eTendering system (Proactis preferable but training can be provided)
• Able to work independently
• Hands on: drafting documents, notices etc
• Proactive approach: actively working on allocated matters and seeking specialist input where required
• Willing to 'do the doing' there will be no admin support, we have a number of projects to be progressing
• Once a week in the office (currently Tuesday)
