Role Overview
Our client is searching for a Legal Services Manager who will support the operational effectiveness of legal functions within a regulatory environment. The role will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of casework services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on managing the allocation of legal representatives for hearings, ensuring all scheduled cases are staffed with appropriately skilled presenting officers.
- Provide strategic and operational instructions to ELPs in relation to cases under investigation.
- Maintain oversight of ELP performance and promote timely, efficient progression of pre-committee cases.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to monitor progress and address case management challenges proactively.
Requirements
- Highly organised, with a strong ability to oversee resources and ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
- Skilled in performance monitoring and able to apply data-driven decisions to enhance delivery.
- A confident and capable decision-maker, able to provide clear operational instructions to both internal colleagues and external partners.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving problems, with experience of managing legal or regulatory casework in a complex environment.
