Legal Secretary (Secretarial Pool) - Birmingham City Centre

Salary up to £27,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

We are working with a well-established, Lexcel and CQS accredited multi-office law firm who are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy pool of secretaries, based at their Birmingham City Centre office, supporting the whole business.

The position will involve:

• Working as part of a team of experienced legal secretaries in a busy secretarial pool
• Supporting fee earners across all areas of the business (real estate, wills and probate, estate planning, family, litigation, personal injury, employment law and commercial)
• A high volume of audio typing from digital dictation
• Copy typing of correspondence, legal documents and invoices
• Use of a case legal management system
• Diary management
• Opening and closing files

Suitable candidates will have:

• Previous experience working in a legal secretarial capacity, ideally within 2 or more fields of law
• Good audio and copy typing skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
• Experience of using a legal case management system

This is a full-time permanent job working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is fully office-based.
