Our client, a well-established legal practice, is looking for a proactive, organised, and professional Legal Secretary to support a litigation team. Job reference: 215301217THE ROLE:As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to Solicitors handling a wide range of litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence, as well as preparing and amending client documentation. You will manage diaries, arrange appointments, and liaise with clients, courts, and external organisations. The role also involves managing files, opening and closing matters, and assisting with billing and time recording to ensure the smooth running of cases.THE SKILLS:The ideal candidate for this position will have at least one year of experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a litigation department. Strong typing and administrative skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality. You should have a friendly and professional manner when dealing with clients and be confident using legal software and Microsoft Office.
