Legal Secretary - Private Client

Join a highly reputable law firm in Surrey as a Legal Secretary within the Private Client Department. This role is based in our Cranleigh office and offers a dynamic work environment where you will support a Senior Associate and the broader team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide full secretarial support including audio typing for the timely production of various documents such as letters, attendance notes, briefs, and bills.
- Manage diaries and ensure efficient scheduling and organisation.
- Maintain comprehensive and highly accurate client administrative files, both physical and electronic.
- Liaise with clients and third parties by telephone or in person, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Take the lead on tasks to best support the department and team, demonstrating initiative and strong organisational skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in audio transcription with fast and accurate typing abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise workload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly and professional attitude.
- IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Digital Audio software.
