Offer | £26,000 - £28,000 per annum – depending on experience

We are working with a fantastic law firm based on the outskirts of Luton who are looking to hire a Legal Secretary to join their Residential Conveyancing team.

They’re ideally looking for a secretary with a background within Residential Conveyancing, however they would be open to discussing the role with candidates from a different legal background.

Typical duties would include:

• Supporting solicitors and partners with the day-to-day running of their files.
• The production of documents and correspondence using audio/copy typing.
• Undertaking searches and processing post-completion actions.
• Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instruction.
• Dealing promptly and accurately with all filing and storage/retrieval requirements.

The successful candidate:

• Previous experience as a secretary, preferably in Residential Conveyancing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication.
• Proven audio typing experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.
• IT literate – proven IT skills, including case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
