The primary responsibility of this role entails furnishing secretarial and administrative assistance to the legal team.This support plays a pivotal role in fostering the expansion of the department and guaranteeing that our lawyers deliver services that are both professional and responsive to our clients' needs.Key responsibilities include:
- Handling client inquiries via telephone and in person, providing progress updates, and taking messages for fee earners.
- Communicating with third parties such as Barristers to schedule appointments and court dates.
- Assisting in managing the fee earners’ schedules, making appointments for both new and existing clients.
- Conducting accurate conflict checks and guiding clients on the necessary paperwork required for Money Laundering and Proof of Income.
- Opening new client files on the case management system.
- Efficient and precise audio typing, copy transcriptions, and document formatting.
- Preparing Briefs for Counsel.
- Compiling and updating Trial Bundles, including indexes.
