A friendly and well-established high street law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support its busy Litigation and Legal Aid Housing Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a traditional legal officesetting and play a vital role in supporting fee earners in delivering high-quality client service.
Main Responsibilities:
Audio typing(digital dictation) of legal documents, letters, and attendance notes
Typing and preparing court forms, witness statements, and general correspondence
Managing incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and telephone calls
Organising files and maintaining paper-based filing systems
Assisting with legal aid administration and case management
Booking client appointments and supporting reception when needed
About You:
Previous legal secretarial experience is essential
Confident with audio typing, with fast and accurate typing skills
Comfortable working in a traditional, paper-based office environment
Reliable, organised, and capable of working under pressure
Friendly and professional manner, with excellent communication skills
Able to multitask and manage workload effectively
