Legal Counsel - Be Resourcing : Job Details

We are seeking a confident and commercially minded Legal Counsel to join a fast-growing, innovative technology business headquartered in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, shaping legal strategy and managing commercial risk across multiple territories.

The roleYou’ll be the go-to legal expert, providing in-house support on a wide range of matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (including SaaS agreements, supplier partnerships, and data processing agreements)

• Advising on regulatory, risk and compliance issues in the UK, Australia, and beyond

• Supporting procurement and contract lifecycle processes

• Advising on IP, licensing, and GDPR/data privacy compliance

• Managing external counsel where needed (M&A, litigation, regulatory)

• Delivering internal training and maintaining up-to-date legal documentation

About you

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales, Scotland, or equivalent jurisdiction)

• 2–4 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in SaaS, tech or software sectors

• Strong skills in commercial contract negotiation and drafting

• Solid knowledge of data protection (UK GDPR)

• Able to work autonomously and provide pragmatic, business-focused advice

• Comfortable in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment
