Legal Counsel- Investment Funds - The Legists : Job Details

On-site / Hybrid / Remote opportunity Our client is an award winning fin-tech and online bank with a customer base of nearly 8 million. The organisation has grown exponentially and is seeking to provide investment and pension solutions to its customer base, including providing a pensions aggregation platform and consequently is seeking to hire a solicitor who can provide support to the business across these areas. The solicitor will be heavily involved in the business, working closely with all stakeholders, especially the technology developers and programmers, but also with the risk and compliance and finance teams. You will provide advice on a range of pensions and investment topics for its customers and help with the design of the new products and the technology. This is a very unique role to be able to shape the investment and pensions offering to the company's customers. Key Requirements * You will either be an investments lawyer who has direct experience of investing through technology or a pensions lawyer who has a strong understanding of DC and possibly tech related pension provisions * Importantly you must have the skills to work with a cross section of senior stakeholders and provide coherent and relevant legal advice that helps shape and build the new products * You should have a solid understand of the law relating to pensions and investments and the regulatory requirements associated when launching new products * Lastly, you should be adaptable to working in a fast moving environment, where you must be able to flex to changes on a regular basis and forge and create your work streams with your colleagues This is an exceptional role for a lawyer seeking to work in one of the most dynamic companies in the UK and being part of an organisation that values its staff and customers above anything else.
