Legal Counsel (4+ PQE)

Walsall (Hybrid)

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join a market-leading utilities organisation based in Walsall.

This role is rewarded with a highly competitive salary and agile working, with only three days a week in office. It presents an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to negotiate on an array of B2B and B2C commercial contracts, in a supportive, friendly, and specialist team.

About the role

This role will give the successful Senior Commercial Lawyer the opportunity to:

- Assist with amending, re-structuring and negotiating of a wide range of generalist commercial contracts;

- Support the internal legal function with streamlining internal policy and processes;

- Liaise with high profile internal and external stakeholders.

About you

The ideal Senior Commercial Lawyer will be a U.K qualified lawyer with a minimum of four years' post qualification experience, either in private practice or in-house. You will be able to commute to their Walsall office. You will also have:

- Experience in advising internal and external stakeholders on commercial contracts with a client-focused approach;

- Excellent technical ability with a personable approach;

- A good eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
